A space of configuration, dictated by thresholds, where the threshold and the resulting light condition define the actions of the space. These actions act as a procession from entering to standing to sitting to sleeping.
As the door rotates upwards from vertical to horizontal, the threshold is lengthened to form a larger space of entry.
The inner door rotates up to frame a space of sitting, marked by added natural light, and allows entry into the sleeping space.
When closed from inside, this space is given privacy.
